It all began with a swipe right — proof that true love can indeed survive the algorithms! After a few nervous messages and a first dinner filled with butterflies, we thought we were off to a great (and slightly awkward) start.

What we didn’t know was that Zoe’s parents were so curious about this mysterious date that they decided to do a little undercover mission of their own… and followed us to the Fishpool Inn! Thankfully, their secret stakeout didn’t spoil the night — instead, it became one of our favourite stories to tell. And the rest, as they say, is history (with slightly less surveillance).
